Clarissa Falls is a family-run resort located on a working cattle ranch that sits on the banks of the Mopan River, 5 miles southwest of San Ignacio. We’ll stay in several cottages right along the river. The cottages are simple, clean and very comfortable.
While at Clarissa Falls you can wander through lush tropical rainforest, go for a dip in the Mopan River, grab a snack or a full meal at the open air restaurant, or take a nap in hammock. Our host will be Chena Galvez, who runs the resort and is also a natural healer.
